It might also be helpful for medical students and residents to view this film as an exposure to homebirth and the concept of birth as a nonmedical, wholistic event. The Farm's birth statistics, which are presented at the end of the film, should convince even the most staunch homebirth skeptic: for 1,918 births, including 12 sets of twins and a breech rate of 3.2%, the cesarean section rate was 1.8%."
